St Charles Prepares Big Fair Day With County Exhibit

Funeral Services Held For Pioneer Of Liberty Sunday

James Poulsen of Liberty died at 89 after a twelve week illness. Funeral services Sunday in the Liberty chapel with Bishop Wm Morgan presiding and the Liberty quartet in music. Born October 28, 1831, he joined the LDS Church as a youth and served six years as a missionary. He endured multiple marriages and large family losses during migration to Utah. He leaves a wife, fourteen children, ninety nine grandchildren, and many friends.

Wallis Lawn Party Celebrates Fourteenth Wedding Anniversary

On Monday evening June 10 Mr and Mrs James H Wallis hosted a Paris lawn party at their home to mark their fourteen years of marriage. About sixty invited friends attended as the Montpelier and Paris brass bands provided lively music and lanterns added festive charm for the children and guests.
