Paris Bond Issue Voted Favorably Last Friday
Paris approved a $30,000 bond to match a $36,675 government grant for a new PWIA waterworks system. The vote carried 179 in favor to 36 against with two spoiled ballots. Mayor Dan C. Interest Grows in Wheat Acreage Allotments

Bear Lake water storage for 1038 rises 3.8 feet per Camp Lifton records. Since 1934 the lake’s peak has been the lowest after the P pumping plant began operations. Lt. L. Deardorff credits the gain to more moisture and reduced irrigation in the lower valley. Pumps are not operating at present.
