Five Generations of the Rich Family
Mary Jacobs Rich born about 1860 in Grantaville Utah moved to St. Charles with family. She married Amasa M. Rich in 1880 Logan Temple and raised six sons and a daughter Myrtle B. Richards. Surviving children include Da Apen cer H. Rich Paris, Dr Reed J. Rich Montpelier, Dr Chasinal Rich Salt Lake City. 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. She spent winters in Salt Lake City and summers in Bear Lake county and remained active in LDS Belief Society and Primary work.

Shuman to speak at Idaho Farm Bureau convention
Charles B. Shuman of Chicago will be main speaker at the Idaho Farm Bureau Federation convention in Boise December 3 4 and 6 at the Owyhee Hotel. He is president of the Illinois Agricultural Association and a member of the American Farm Bureau Federation board. The announcement came from John H. Webb executive secretary of the state farm group.
