Funeral Services for Elsie Earley Held in Laketown Ward
An impressive funeral was held in the Laketown ward chapel on Wednesday October 31 at 1 p.m. for Hisse Earley Webb wife of A Les lie Webb and mother of seven living children who died October 25 in Ogden Utah after a stroke. The service was conducted by Bishop Norman Weston with a full program of hymns solos and reflections by family and friends. Relatives from afar gathered in Laketown for the service and graveside rites. Funeral arrangements were by Lind Quist and Son Mortuary of Ogden.

Joseph Reginald Minson 61 of Salt Lake City died Saturday morning in the Salt Lake Veterans Hospital. Born July 21 1895 in Paris Idaho he was a World War I veteran and former commander of VFW Post 409. Four Injured When Car Crashes Into Load of Hay
Four young people from Montpelier were hospitalized after a Saturday afternoon crash on Highway 89 one mile north of Paris. A 1956 Ford struck a hayrack pulled by a tractor, sending the car overturning across a barbed wire fence.
