Social Security district manager in Pocatello reports most Bear Lake area seniors on Social Security are joining the voluntary medical insurance portion of Medicare. The program, effective after July 1966, offers hospital insurance and a $3 monthly supplementary plan to cover doctors' fees and other costs. Beneficiaries can enroll by returning the enrollment card. premiums start in July.
