Better Wool Practices Mean Higher Payment
Rich County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee Chairman Shel don L Kennedy notes higher producer returns yield higher payments under the wool program. He says payment is a uniform percentage of each grower’s returns and quality wool is the key to higher payments. Informational guidance is available through county extension agents, marketing agencies, or growers associations as all 1964 wool payments in Rich County have been made.
