Relief Society and MIA events, quilting sessions, fashion show and mother parties feature among multiple visits and calls from families across Logan Paris Ogden and Molad areas.
Mrs Elza Poulsen visited the Richard Hunzakers in Montpelier on Monday and Tuesday, sharing time with the family during her trip.
On Saturday May 22 Americans are asked to buy and wear a red memorial poppy. The event honors dead and disabled servicemen of three wars and supports living disabled veterans through the American Legion Auxiliary.
Ezra J. Poulsen argues that while college degree standards already require languages, the push for early exposure to foreign languages should begin in the 7th or 8th grade and continue through 12th grade, supported by a well administered six year high school program.
On May 8 the family gathered at David Piggott’s home in Bountiful to honor William C Piggott on his 80th birthday. Attendees included Thomas and Merrill Piggott families, David Piggott family, Everett Gardiner family, Wayne Stock family, Blanche Piggott, and Madsen, the eldest son who died in 1946.
I thank my relatives neighbors and friends who helped during my husband illness and death and the Relief Society for serving lunch after the funeral services.
