The City of Paris Idaho in Bear Lake County invites sealed bids by April 4 1955 at 10:00 a.m. for 2180 feet of 4 inch mechanical joint cast iron water main pipe with lead tipped gaskets bolts and flanges. Bids must be delivered to Fred J. Price Clerk. The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
The State of Idaho serves Inez Marie Pheht with a complaint for an absolute divorce on grounds of extreme cruelty. The defendant must appear and plead within twenty days after service, or the plaintiff will seek judgment. Filed in Bear Lake County District Court, dated February 25 1955.
The Board of County Commissioners met February 26 1955 and accepted Bear Lake Motor Co bid for a 1955 Ford Mainliner with optional Police Interceptor unit for law enforcement use at 640.00 plus 187.35. The unit is restricted to agencies and widely used in the US. Also approved routine road and bridge claims and warrants.
