Funeral rites held for Thomas Calder in Garden City
Large funeral services were conducted Sunday in the Garden City L D S chapel for Thomas Calder. The service featured a program with solos, speakers, and remarks by relatives, followed by burial arrangements and pallbearers. Calder, born April 23 1871 in Bountiful Utah, died March 18 1938, survived by his wife Eva and six children.

Magpie Trap Aids Idaho Pest Warfare
County agent reports magpies threatening game birds livestock and poultry. A trial trap from Sheridan Wyoming captured 46 birds in three days and over 100 since. 10 more traps are being built around the county. The inverted fly trap uses meat bait, is eight by ten by five feet, and requires little attention. Plans available from the county agent in Paris.
