New City TICKET Nominations Held in Paris Court Room
Delegates elected to nominate a city ticket met Monday afternoon in the Paris court room at 2 pm. Mayor W W Richards chaired. Roy A Welker served as secretary. Committees were named on credentials, order of business and resolutions. Bonding the city for water works was urged by Jos R Shepherd, with new officials expected to push progress and bond measures. Nominees were later confirmed for mayor, police judge, city clerk, treasurer and ward councilmen. A resolutions report and candidate statements on water works are promised in the next Post.
