Bear Lake County arrests two for underage beer sales
Last Saturday evening Homer La Rocco, a bartender at Idaho Billiards in Montpelier, was cited for selling beer to a person under 20. Allen Phelps, 19, of Montpelier and Utah State University student, was cited for illegally procuring beer. Phelps fined 50 dollars plus costs. La Rocco fined 100 dollars plus costs and given a suspended 15 day jail sentence. Sheriff’s officer witnessed the sale and arrested both immediately after the transaction.
