Harriet Humphreys Poulsen wife of former Bishop James S. Poulsen of this city died March 4 after a long illness. Born in Paris Idaho in 1832, she was active in Latter day Saint church work and raised in Bear Lake valley pioneer traditions. Married July 19 1905 in the Logan Temple, she is survived by six children besides her husband. Funeral services were held March 7 in the Second Ward meetinghouse with Bishop D Price presiding. a large attendance, flowers, and choral music marked the service.

Sam Wilke of St Charles reported results from Bear Lake races held on blue ice last Saturday. St Charles team of Transtrum mare and a Cleveland horse defeated Fish Haven team driven by Claude Sprouse after an earlier win by Bee arts and Smith over Wm Stucks. Race distance about 350 yards and entrants collected entrance money.

Officers Stop Wagon With 23 Gallons Liquor On Lewisville Road
