Funeral Rites Monday for Mrs Walter Bird
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Paris for Mrs. Walter Bird 53 found dead at the family farm near Paris. Born June 2 1891 in Ovid Idaho she lived in Paris 33 years active in LDS church work Surviving husband four children and mother plus seven siblings attended services conducted by Bishop O H Grimmett with prayers songs and readings. Interment followed in Paris cemetery under F M Williams Mortuary arrangements.

A six member committee was chosen to draft a biology based course on narcotics effects for Idaho high schools. Stanford Pugmire of Pocatello High School is on the committee. The work is planned to take six weeks, until about July 15.

Forest Supervisor James O Stewart announced Ranger Thomas H Levy is now in charge of the Randolph ranger district within the Cache National Forest.
