Mrs DeWin Anderson and sons visited her parents Mr and Mrs Wm Jensen in Soda Springs. A 7 pound 2 ounce girl was born June 22 to Mr and Mrs Kay Rich of Montpelier. Numerous locals hosted or received guests over Fathers Day weekend and during visits to Logan Pocatello Montpelier and Stanford University.
Mr and Mrs Kay Allred and baby enjoy two week vacation at Yellowston s Park. Cliff Pearce and son of Lava Hot Springs visit Paris with relatives. Andrew Barfuss family travels to Boise area to see son Raymond. H L Spencer attend Paria weekend for Orson wedding. Ezra Jacobson and Farrell Jacobson of Ogden spend weekend with mother Mrs James Jacobson. John Fox visits Preston and Logan for recent relatives and friends.
Minutes from the June 14 1954 meeting show changes in election judge appointments and a petition by landowners along a Bear River north-south road to close and abandon the unused county road linking the Nounan roads. The board adopts a resolution to act on the petition.
The board declares the road described as connecting the South Nounan Road with the North Nounan Road is hereby abandoned as a County Road. Attest: Sam V. Tunks, Clerk.
