Henry Perrett died after being caught in a screw conveyor at Western Phosphate Company. He and coworker Archie Wilcox attempted to clear ore when the device caught his ankle tearing muscle and severing arteries. Doctors tried to save him but he died the next day. Funeral held at First Presbyterian with community mourners and ministers paying tribute. Perrett, born June 19 1887 in Paris, Idaho, had moved from Idaho Falls to Paris with his wife Primrose. his father George Perrett and brother Ernest survived. Mrs Minson, sister of the deceased, was injured in Idaho Falls when a car overturned en route to attend services.

Nine Poisoned After Bologna Meal Near Whitney School
Nine persons fell violently ill after eating bologna at the home of Mr. and Mrs. HB M Wray east of the Whitney school house on the beach. All but two who did not eat, or ate little, were affected. one infant Carrol Hyde nearly died. Mrs. Wray and Mrs. Hyde remained ill though improving, with numb arms and fatigue. The bologna was bought in a downtown store.
