June 6 1942 Bear Lake County Commissioners approve land acquisitions for Airput after review by CAA and Army Engineers totaling 2050 dollars. They also adopt a resolution with the United States Civil Aeronautics Administration authorizing operation and maintenance of Bear Lake County Airport under project S 904 10 11 and set terms for government access and county obligations.

The board approved honors for service men Smith Hoge totaling 10 500 dollars. The auditor is ordered to draw a warrant for J R Pugmire amounting to 565 dollars from the Road and Bridge fund as a down payment on property bought for an airport site. George Michaelson of St Charles Idaho holds the permit. Water used in West half of Northeast quarter Section 2 Township 155 Range 43 East Boise Meridian. Canal or ditch is a private ditch.
