Medical School Flim Flam Affects State Economy
An inadequately supported medical school would harm the state’s economy and public higher education. Western studies show building a reputable college of medicine costs over 25 million dollars with ongoing costs of 6 to 8 million annually. Federal construction aid is sometimes available on a 1.5 to 1 match, but operating expenses are borne by the state.

Idaho medical school plan draws critics and cost concerns
