Rexburg Branch Office Buildings Show Large Fireproof Plant
The Rexburg branch under Al C Duffin occupies a 7 000 square foot main floor with three 34 by 10 foot balconies and a 30 by 100 foot cement basement. Steam heat powers the building which is described as thoroughly fireproof with non combustible woodwork. Duffin, since January 1908, has expanded the business and helped persuade the company to erect the current structure. Duffin, born in Paris Idaho in 1872, has led Rexburg operations after past posts in Montpelier Randolph and Twin Falls, greatly increasing the firm’s local trade.
