The Le Bear Lake Cutter Association with about 20 teams schedules four programs in January in the valley. Each program has ten races starting at 1 30 P M on Saturdays January 7 14 21 and 28 at St Charles George Bloomington Paris Montpelier and other locations. M men and Gleaners Hold Bear Lake Stake Banquet
The M men and Gleaner girls of the Bear Lake Stake hosted a banquet Tuesday evening December 27 at Bloomington ward amusement hall. 180 attendees enjoyed decorated tables arranged by Bloomington M men and Gleaners with St Charles Gleaners contributing. Longtime Montpelier Lady Dies December 26
Mrs. Jacobina Katrina Burgoyne 87 a Montpelier resident died at home Monday. Funeral services were held Thursday in the Montpelier Third Ward chapel. Born October 19 1882 in Gothland Sweden she came to the United States at age 12 and settled in Montpelier. She married Edward Lorenzo Burgoyne in 1882. he died years ago. Survivors include 11 children 27 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, with multiple Burgoyne relatives in Montpelier and surrounding areas.
