Bear Lake County Holds Budget Hearing and Approves Payments
Bear Lake County commissioners met February 10 1964 in Paris Idaho to discuss the proposed budget with about 25 taxpayers present. The board defended the budget as legal and based on prior years, approved January bills totaling numerous items, and authorized payments including a $463.73 travel stipend for J Clarence Lindsay and a $300 contribution to a local historical monument. They also considered damages for a horse incident and authorized further actions with the regional convention and county shares via proxy.
