In Bear Lake district history a three dozen scouts from six troops gathered at the Stake Tabernacle for a large Court of Honor. More than fifty badges were awarded including one Eagle and three Life badges with Clenneth Arnell earning the Eagle and pinning by his mother Mrs. Arnell.

Douglas Hix longtime Idaho official dies in Salt Lake City
Douglas Hix 80 prominent attorney and judge in Idaho and Utah Bar member died at a Salt Lake City hospital after three months of illness.
