Ray McIlwee Marries Denver Girl on Christmas Day

Ray McIlwee son of James McIlwee of Salt Lake connected with Western Phosphate Company of Paris married Miss Florence Goulette of Denver on Christmas day. They obtained a Boulder license then wed at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Denver, with Father William Higgins officiating. The romance began four years earlier in Salt Lake when McIlwee visited Miss Goulette, altering his Chile Tunnel Construction plans. The couple planned a secret ceremony but chose witnesses met by Father Higgins upon entry to the cathedral.
