The St Charles local gathering of Bloomington Fish Haven and St Charles met Friday night. Officers elected for the coming year include Arlin Pugmire chair man Mayo Krogue first assistant and Alton Kearl second assistant. The St Charles MIA held its annual Green and Gold Ball with the Fielding High School dance band providing music. The hall featured a Deep Purple theme and honored the Junior Gleaner Girls. The Aviation Cadet Training Program now accepts qualified high school graduates ages 19 to 26 percent for pilot or navigator training.
