Ellsworth Cleveland of St Charles and Miss Audrey Thomas of Bloomington visited Paris. L ieutenant and Mrs Wallace Lind of Fort Douglas Utah vacationing at Bear Lake called on Mrs Marinths Lindsay. A reunion for the late Dr A B Dunford’s family in Treasure Valley observed his 76th birthday with over forty relatives. Local merchants announce goods in up stairs department and fall slippers. Stake Priesthood meeting set for August 21 22 and 28 29. Mrs LaMont Cole and infant Frankie of Baltimore visited. Archie Anderson and Crandell Dunn families in Salt Lake. Wilford Beveridge and Olive Miller of Ogden attended Ringel family reunion. Waite Alfred visiting Afton Wyoming to manage Call Pharmacy. Horace Austin family toured Yellowstone Park.

Social notes from Soda Springs and Rexburg visitations

Mrs Wes Caldowell and two sons plan a three week California trip via Soda Springs with stops at the Grand Canyon of Colorado. Mr and Mrs Hobson with Ruth and Stanley visited Alfred, then Rexburg after teaching at Ricks College in Logan. Harvest Report From Paris Area On Budge Farm

Arthur Budge operates a new International mid get Combine harvester on his 326 acre farm north of Paris. Reported as the first of its kind in the area the machine is said to produce 18 bushels of turkey red and from 40 to 50 bushels per acre. Federal authorities note promising yields.

Optical specialist to visit Paris and Montpelier venues

Dr A L Chilton of Pocatello Optical Company will be in Paris on August 27 from 10 a.m. to 1:36 p.m. at Stuck Home. He will also be in Montpelier on August 27 from 8 p.m. to 6 p.m. and August 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Christman Jewelry Store.
