Cow Barn Blaze Recounted As Tourists Help Douse

Palisades Dam Adds Third Generator to Increase Output
The third generator at Palisades Dam in eastern Idaho started Thursday, bringing installed capacity to 85,500 kilowatts. The first two units began in February and May, and the fourth unit is under construction with first energy expected later this year. By July 31 the dam produced 145,600,000 kilowatt hours.

At the 36th Idaho Woolgrowers association sale in Filer, 590 rams sold for a total of $38,? no, $64, 41. 44 per head after an average rise of $7 over last year. Last year 575 rams averaged $103.92 with $59,178.50 total. WRECKS STOLEN CAR LEADS TO ARREST IN WYOMING
Gordon Ian Davlin a 22 year old from San Francisco was arrested by Jackson and Afton officers with Wyoming state help after stealing three cars in Idaho and Wyoming. Two Salt Lake men arrested in narcotics theft probe
Two Salt Lake City men, Harold Burleigh age 51 and Ernest L. Jeremy age 49, were arrested in Logan while attempting to fill a narcotics prescription under an assumed name. They confessed to burglarizing the Lowe Drug Co. in Paris on August 8 and are held on a $2,000 felony warrant in Cache County. Authorities trace the crime path through Utah and southeastern Idaho with roadblocks and a license plate identified by Sheriff C. E. Monson. extradition to Idaho is possible after Utah sentencing.
