The Nebeker Kearl descendants gathered at Wendell Johnson Lakeshore Park last Friday for their first family reunion. Henry Earley reported his hand injury from last week is healing but painful. Mr and Mrs Paul Kearl celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Salt Lake City with their son Clinton and daughter Linda, then returned home. Roy Baker and son John of Salt Lake City are summering at Blue Water Beach cabin and visiting relatives. Mrs Baker is daughter of former residents Geo Weston. Harmon Cheney and wife of Ogden are caring for Cheney's ill mother Emma during his vacation, with neighbors helping. Mrs Cheney is Laketowns oldest matron.
