Mrs S J Parrish of Centerville Utah sister to Morgan Rich has been visiting relatives in Paris with family members reporting on the trip.
Atty Merrill of Budge and Merrill in Pocatello transacted legal business in Paris Friday. State Deputy Game Warden Jesse Dunn of Montpelier also transacted business there. Montpelier Chief of Police Jack Hillier called in Friday morning. Mrs Ralph Brimhall of Salt Lake City visited Paris as guest of Miss Anna Innes. Miss Amy Rogers, local telephone operator, spent the weekend in Pocatello and Idaho Falls. Mrs Oliver Peterson of Ovid visited Paris with her mother Mrs Marintha Lindsay. Local residents work on state highway at Ovid. Ezra J Howell, farmer of Fish Haven, attended district court Wednesday. Jesse P Rich of Logan arrived in Paris Wednesday for district court. Paul Spence of Garden City Utah was in Paris after noon Wednesday on business. Miss Hazel Pendrey of Montpelier visited Paris for a few hours Wednesday afternoon. Michael Barclay of Blackfoot attended funeral services for L R Kelsey in town Monday.
Mr. Milford Sutton and R H Brooks arrived back in Magna Utah on Sunday after a week’s vacation in Paris and the lakeshore enjoying sightseeing and leisure.
Mrs L T A Hotten and her children arrived here at the start of the week, bringing news of their recent travels and settling into the area.

Miles Durkee of Mt Pleasant Utah arrived Wednesday for a visit with Dr and Mrs C O Moore and family. The Moore family includes Mrs Moore who is Durkee's daughter in law and Mayor and Mrs Jas L Dunford and their family left for Logan Utah Friday for a short vacation with relatives and friends. Atty Wm Ryan of Pocatello formerly Montpelier lawyer attended to legal business Monday and spoke of Lear Lake County and its people. Mr L Blackburn returned to San Francisco after a pleasant visit. Mrs Blackburn staying with her parents plans to remain until hot weather ends. Mr Robert Rosen came in from Grace Saturday to attend funeral services for L A Kelsey held here Monday. He returned with his wife who has been visiting her parents.
Several wagon loads of Indians from the Indian Reservation at Ross Fork arrived in Paris Tuesday evening and camped south of the town along Paris creek. They were up early the next morning and made house to house calls for food and discarded clothing.
A boy tied to John Jaussi fell several feet in the fairgrounds grandstand area causing a forearm fracture. The break is healing quickly and the boy is reported to be progressing well.
