Miss Myrtle Rich returned from Salt Lake City after attending the U of U summer school and winning honors in vocal music.

Auto accident near St Charles leaves driver injured

John Warner of Garden City drove a Ford on the county highway near St Charles last Sunday evening when glare from an oncoming car crowded him off the road. His car rolled over and he suffered a broken shoulder blade and fractured ribs. The other driver fled, and Warner was left until a passing vehicle brought him to Paris for medical care.
