Automobiles Collide Near Soda Springs In Dusty Crash
A Monday accident six miles from Soda Springs was a head on collision caused by dust from a flock of sheep. Dilsworth Cleveland and H R Shepherd with infant were traveling to Paris when dust and sheep blocked the road. Raymond Budge and party en route to Logan Utah could not see and collided. Both cars suffered scratches and injuries though none serious.

Funeral services for Hannah Dayton 84 were held at Dingle chapel. Born in Michigan she crossed to Utah in 1851 with a hand cart company and lived in Cedar Fort before moving to Dingle in 1891. Survived by four sons forty three grandchildren a brother and two sisters. Speakers included Bishop Warren Sirrine Hyrum Oakey Edward C. Rich and Silas Wright. Interment in Dingle cemetery.

Harry Short a long time Montpelier resident died at his home Saturday at about 70. He worked for the Oregon Short Line and was a longtime pensioner. He leaves a wife five children and other relatives. Funeral services were held under the Odd Fellows lodge which he joined more than thirty years ago.
