Reorganization Debate for Bear Lake County Schools
A county-wide debate on reorganizing Bear Lake County schools into a two district system or a single county unit continues. Voters previously favored two districts in some areas, while others opposed or favored the status quo. The plan now centers on a county unit proposal, aiming for economy, uniform tax levies, and broader educational equity if approved by the committee and voters.
