Elisha Braxton Dies After Long Public Service in Paoli
Elisha Braxton died June 5 at 12 45 am after a long career in Paoli Indiana. Born March 4 1826 he was 49 years 3 months and 2 days old. He served as county sheriff 1884 and held hotel clerk posts at French Lick Springs and West Baden. He is survived by a daughter a granddaughter a great granddaughter and a brother. Funeral Thursday at the M E church with Rev Frazer and local ministers.
