Judge M. Hostetter Dies in Chicago at 56
Evansville native Judge M. Hostetter died of neuralgia of the bears at his daughter’s home in Chicago last Thursday night at age 56. A former Salem attorney, he practiced there for years after marriage to Alfred Shrom’s daughter, Mrs. Hector McClain, and later served two terms as Superior Court judge in Evansville. His body was returned to Salem for funeral services last Sunday.
