Garfield County High School previews a Friday night ball in Panguitch on March 10. The Social Hall will be decorated with aliver leaved spruce and city decorations. Music by the High School orchestra. Invited guests include Mr and Mrs J B Showalter Marion King Maurice Cope Hyrum Gaten Janes Sargent BG Gardiner Thomas Levy. Refreshments will be free. It is a program of dance. Elder France Henry expected home from New Zealand by April conference.

Escalante reports mild weather with dry streets and muddy canyon routes to come. Sister Jane Ellen Spencer, 70, died Feb 26 after months of illness. survived by husband Joseph H. Spencer and five sons, six daughters, many grandchildren. Funeral Feb 20 at the tabernacle with Bishop Griffin leading services. Mr Richard Wilson and William Baker are ill. Baker died March 8. Bellef Society notes changes in leadership. A newborn girl arrived March 1 to Mr William Mitchell and wife. Mrs Robert Mangrum returns home from Dr King’s care improved.
