Frost and drought worry Kansas county farms

Mr Sam Brinkerholf reported a frost in Johnson Saturday morning as he traveled home from Kare county. He said dry land farms suffer from lack of rain while Megars Quinces Kimball P W Merrill Joseph Marshall and Carl Manquith of Winder visited Panquitch Saturday noting dry conditions despite a slight thaw recently in that county.

Teachers Examination Set For Panguitch Utah In August

A Garfield County Utah teachers examination under Section 1794 Compiled Laws will be held in Panguitch Public School on August 5 6 and 7 1913. Eligibility requires three years teaching experience or four years of high school education. School boards may not distribute funds to uncertified teachers. Only one county examination will be given this year.
