The Free Public Library, recently closed, will reopen Tuesday August 8 at 26 Second Street from 11 30 a m to 4 30 p m to receive books borrowed before closing. Former librarian C Ernestine Cooley asks that those unable to return on that date leave them next door at the B and B cafe prior to Tuesday.
Sunday services in local churches both morning and evening. On Monday the Millville Methodist Missionary Society gathers at Mrs G Bannerman's home at 3 p m. Tuesday Mrs T C Luster hosts Hi Low Bridge club at 2 30 p m. Wednesday Kiwanis luncheon at the Dixie Sherman hotel at noon. Thursday Lions club luncheon at the Dixie Sherman hotel at 12 15 p m.

The First Methodist church of Panama City will keep August early morning services at 9 a.m. with Sunday school at 10 a.m. Rev. Don Graham of Westfield Presbyterian church will lead the morning service as Rev. H. P. Childs and his wife are on vacation in the North. Rev. Graham and his wife are visiting in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Folkes.

Mrs. Mary Hobbs announces the marriage of her daughter Lucille William Joseph Mathis of this city. The ceremony is set for July thirtieth in YDanoemiti City. Mrs. Mathis, a Bay County High School graduate, is a former Lynn Haven resident. Mr. Mathis, son of Mr. and Mrs. A O Mathis of Panama, works for Bay Line. The couple plans to reside in this city.
