Panama City Pilot Club Elects Gladys Blackburn President
Gladys Blackburn was elected president of the Panama City Pilot Club at its annual officers election held at the Cove hotel. Ruth White, Ella Mae Mize, Edna Hutchison, Alice Leib, Theda All, and directors Louise Rollins ewah Pinney Eunice Robin In Velma Sutherland Mamie Johnson Flora Bell Churchwell were named to senior posts. The meeting, led by President Rumice Robinson, heard committee reports and set plans to sponsor an opening night dance at Long Beach earning 25 percent of gate receipts. A health committee was formed with Bay County Health Unit representation. The session closed with most members present and will install new officers May 8.

Barn Dance Tonight at Bay County High Gym
A barn dance hosted by the Bay County High School Senior class runs tonight at 8 30 in the high school gym. The program features Gift break and day break dances, the Paul Jones act, and prizes for clever farmer costumes. Admission costs 40 cents for couples, 24 cents for stags, and 10 cents for instructors. Music by a nickelodeon.
