At yesterdays Library Association session held in the city hall an amendment was adopted to hold one general assembly meeting on the first Monday of January each year to transact the years business. Employment Agent Urges Cooperation for Local Jobs
Frank Henry, a Pampa employment agent, urged residents to cooperate with the bureau to ensure work goes to bona fide locals. He said any hours of work, even in odd jobs, should be reported, with all city park workers to be hired through the agency. Four of six workers hired yesterday found park work.
