Ipswich businessman charged in wife and childrens deaths
A white businessman in Ipswich, Massachusetts, faces murder charges for killing his pregnant black wife and their two children by placing plastic bags over their heads with tape. A note stated, I am sorry, but blacks and whites dont mix. The suspect, Gordon Haas, 29, a Cambridge department store compensation manager, said he received a call claiming the family had been taken care of. Police found three handwritten papers at arrest, including a bagging material list.

Seven killed in Palos Hills mass shooting shocks Illinois
In Palos Hills Illinois seven people were shot with a 28 caliber rifle, six dying. Suspect William Workman 43 surrendered after a tear gas burst. He claimed mental illness and said he was God’s son. Victims include Workman’s parents and a pregnant neighbor family. Police recovered a 22 caliber pistol and shell casings.

Man Injured In Car Mishap in Sherman Neighborhood
Sherman Lenning Jr. age 41 of 2110 Charles was hospitalized with undetermined injuries after a one car crash Tuesday afternoon. Police report the high speed vehicle struck a curb twice, clipped a street sign and hit a light standard in the 1900 block of N Hobart. Lenning was cited for driving without a license and for driving while intoxicated.

Driver Charged For Bag Theft In Lubbock
Lubbock police charged a driver of an armored car Tuesday with theft after a bank bag containing 42,000 disappeared from a bank basement vault. A maintenance man found the bag near an air conditioning tower. the bag was sealed and all money was recovered. The driver Troy Lynn Smith, 22, confessed to hiding the bag after admitting to taking three other bags.
