The move had little effect on the market Morita had been a member for 30 years and ran a Natchez cotton business He telegramed the exchange that his affairs in Natchez were being liquidated.
Noel Woodbury, manager of Rose Motor Company, announces a $1 prize for the best score at the nearby miniature golf course. The contest began Monday and closes next Monday night. Glen Bowden shot 44 yesterday, the lowest score since the contest began, with new balls in use this week.
In Grand Rapids on June 24 three youths robbed the B Street branch of the Grand Rapids Savings Bank of about $10,000. Bystander Borgenc was shot fatally as robbers fled in a car after binding six employees and the manager.
Amaring June 24 reports Japanese aviator Zeus Agama of Pasadena California completed a hop from Albuquerque New Mexico and landed in Waynoka Oklahoma before continuing to Wichita. The solo world flight marks a notable cross country leg with timing shown as 8704 a m central standard time.
The body of Andrew Michael, 78, who died of paralysis and apoplexy Saturday afternoon in a local hospital, was sent by train yesterday to Parkersburg West Va for burial. Arrangements were in charge of Stephenson Mortuary. He had been visiting his son A L Micheel of Prairie Oil and Gas company for several months. He is survived by numerous relatives in West Virginia. His wife preceded him.

Stall, Democratic candidate for governor of Texas, are urged to meet in the Stet district courtroom in Pampa at 2 o clock to form a Small-for-Governor club and establish headquarters. Judge Newton 2 Willis and Vaughn Biges announce the effort as a Panhandle-wide push, touting Stall's land bill and the creation of the 114th district court as key achievements.
Chicago pilots Kenneth and John Hunter fly the City of Chicago in a refueling endurance mission aiming to surpass the 420 hour world record held by Sir Lois Robins. In a justice court this morning three men were fined on affray charges after a free-for-all at West Pampa Tourist Camp. The brawl drew in men women and children from three families. a jury heard the case as county officers arrested six in connection with the incident yesterday.
Harold Johnson, a 12 year old Boy Scout missing since last Friday, was found near Mount Banya hatchery on the north side of Riverside. Authorities report he walked into the hatchery area and was accounted for with no injuries. The circumstances of his disappearance are under investigation.
Mr and Mrs Ray Miller returned Sunday from a two week honeymoon trip to Tennessee and other southern states. They were married here just before leaving for Mrs Miller’s native state. Before marriage Mrs Miller was Myre Hortensy Allison, a former public school teacher. Mr Miller works as a bookkeeper at Foxworth Galbraith Lumber. They will reside in Pampa.
