Details were scarce on an early Saturday automobile accident in Amarillo involving three Pampa men treated for minor injuries and released. King FR Dodd, 1528 Hamilton, father of Gordon A. Burton G Nackhey the welfare commissioner will be in Pampa this week for two speaking engagements. He will speak at noon to the Pampa Lions Club on Thursday and at a Downtown Kiwanis Club luncheon on Friday both at First Methodist Church. Hackney previously served 12 years on the State Board of Public Welfare and eight as chairman before becoming state commissioner in 1966. He practiced law in Brownfield for 32 years and this will be his first Texas Panhandle visit.
