Pampa High School cheerleaders attended the 20th annual Cheerleading School in Wichita Falls and won the district award, becoming candidates for the National Coca-Cola Award. Squad members include Janelle Bevel, Lee Ann Cantrell, Shelley Covall, Kirt Harkrader, Dana Rogers, Lisa Watson and Barbara Whiteley with Beth Bowman as sponsor. Final national winners to be announced in September. top squads receive plaques, gilt certificates, and uniforms.
