Woman says she was hit by assailant in Dallas
A 24 year old Western Union employee told Dallas police a well dressed young man offered a ride, forced her into his car with a pistol, drove to a secluded spot southwest of Trinity Heights, and assaulted her beating her with a ten inch bolt, stealing three diamonds and a stellar from her purse before fleeing. She was taken to her mother’s home by passing motorists and hospitalized with head injuries. Police have no clue to the attacker’s identity.

Estranged husband kills wife and sister in Wichita Falls
In Wichita Falls on June 10 Mrs. Maudie Dyer, about 30, was fatally shot at her sister Mrs. Dena Childress's home. Her estranged husband Joe Dyer was found shot nearby, likely fatally. A revolver lay near a irrigation ditch after the shooting occurred soon after Dyer entered the house. Dyer had been separated from Maudie for about four months and worked near Abilene. Delivery Boy Struck by Cal Parley Tire Shop Car
Clifford George Stevens a 12 year old delivery boy for the Pampa Daily News was struck by an automobile in front of Cal Parley Tire Shop. He suffered a scalp laceration and was taken to McKean Conner Hospital where stitches were applied. He was returned home last night. The driver assisted the boy to the hospital.
