Dedication services at Mapilat church noted
The Mapilat church held a Sunday morning dedication service with roses and wmilax decor. Pastor Roy Robert Whitaker delivered the sermon titled The Church of the Twentieth Century, with a strong choir performance and solos by Mrs Prot Pease and W. Ht. Myde. The Choral Society presented pieces under J. J. Morrie, and remarks were made by Tew Lawrence and Te Younger of Sa Jom. Evening programs featured a dedication prayer by Whitaker and further talks by local leaders, with plans for August church events and socials announced.
