Local Pioneer Dies After Illness and Typhoid Fever
The community mourns a respected resident of Palo Alto who fell ill two to three weeks prior. He contracted typhoid fever after a fall and decline in health, receiving care from Dr. Gaile and Dr. Gamble. He was 31 and highly regarded for his work with Powell & Dea, described as loyal and generous. Funeral arrangements were set for his home at 124 Esperanza Street, with services at the Knights of Pythias lodge and local funeral rites.
