Four Page seniors will take the College Entrance Examination Board test on Dec. 5 at 8 30 am in the Page High School Library. Counselor Mrs Catherine Thurston explains the test is voluntary and many colleges require it. Students listed to take the exam include Patsy Reinhold Pat Bowling Jim Glass and Lawrence Zirker. The annual football banquet will honor Dr Ivan Kazan a long time team physician with perfect attendance at Page games. The Dec 2 banquet at 6 p m will award trophies for loyal fan and top players with about 135 invited guests and the varsity cheerleaders honored as well.

Mrs. Catherine Pulsifer page postmaster announces post office holiday hours for December. The office will be open two Saturdays before Christmas December 12 and December 19 from 8 30 a m to 5 p m. The lobby Dutch door will open 10 a m to noon on Saturday December 26 for package pickup.

Scouts To Sell Christmas Trees In Page
Boy Scouts and Explorers plan trips to the Kaibab Forest on December 11 and 12 to gather Christmas trees for sale in Page. Proceeds support Scout projects. Trees will go on sale after December 13 at the vacant lot between Page Drug Store and Western Auto, featuring blue spruce fir and possibly pinon.

High Stepping Sandettes Make Debut At Home Game
The Sandettes a 24 member drill team led by Trudy Bennett will debut in uniform at the December 5 home basketball game between Page Sand Devils and Escalante Utah. Junior varsity tips at 6 30 and varsity at 8 00.
