The forthcoming annual report of the Commissioner of the General Land Office shows that in the year ended June 30 there were 2010 cash land entries totaling 5 007 24 acres, yielding 11 910 OT. Entries include private entry sales 714, mineral land sales, desert Land act entries, and 132 final entries. Total entries across all classes reached 265 119 embracing 24 6 acres with receipts of 13 522 1. Original homesteads numbered 142% covering 13 acres. timber entries totaled 24 472 acres. Railroads made 736 selections totaling 6525 2 acres. school swamp and other grants produced 1 205 452 acres. Alongside 24 445 miles entered under public land laws, the aggregate areas of various final entries reached 5 447 547 acres.
