Mrs. R R Eades age 71 died suddenly at home on University avenue Wednesday morning of heart trouble after a night of normal health. A 200 foot crater blew out at the Wild Murphy gas well ten miles north of Eldorado Arkansas on May 16. The main well, producing over 75 million cubic feet of gas daily, ignited after the crater formed, wrecking the derrick and forcing the crew to flee. Gas leaks filled nearby water wells as multiple geysers sparked and burned, mirroring a past Constantine incident with fatalities.
