Death of Myrtle Pugh at Taylor age 22
Myrtle Pugh aged 22 died Sunday afternoon at 5 30 at her father J R Smiths home in Taylor from pneumonia. She left behind a husband and a six weeks old baby. Interment took place Monday in the Yocona graveyard with Rev Elmer Taylor officiating at the graveside.

The Central Club met April 27 with Mrs. Travis Reynolds to discuss improving interiors of homes. Led by Home Demonstration Agent Mary Doney, the group organized a year ago and conducted eight demonstrations including basketry dress forms bread making and canning. They met in eleven homes with an average attendance of ten and twenty six visitors, producing dress forms calves canned and honeysuckle baskets totaling 300.60 dollars.
