Leadville Colorado March 11 Communication with Charles Reuss and Taft Frey imprisoned in the Hon Air mine is established as miners were trapped by a shaft cave and the water pipe blown with dynamite. Provisions lowered through the pipe. A new shaft must be sunk 75 feet, about a week needed to reach them.
