Attempted assault on Mrs Perkins reported southwest of town
News reports an attempted assault on Mrs. Perkins by a young man named Perk Blake ten miles southwest of town. The attacker was deterred by Mrs Perkins' father-in-law, Mr. Perkins, who rushed to aid her. Deputies and a Peewee unit scoured the area but by Wednesday morning Blake remained at large.
